Accounting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is becoming digital: what changes have occurred?

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has updated several important orders, in particular No. 440, No. 300, No. 81 and No. 35, canceling 56 documents that were previously used in military units for accounting of property and organization of support.

The department reports that in those units where a logistics management system based on digital technologies is already operating, they are abandoning the use of paper journals, books and reports. All accounting is now kept exclusively in electronic format, and duplication of information on paper is no longer allowed.

This transition to a digital model allows the military to track the movement of property in real time, plan supplies and make management decisions based on current data. This significantly reduces the time previously spent on bureaucratic procedures.

Changes have also been made to the transfer of equipment and machinery. The procedure has become simpler: the transfer of equipment into operation takes place without the execution of paper acts, and the transfer is carried out through invoices generated in the electronic system.

Separate electronic accounting of components of unmanned systems has been introduced. Units have the opportunity to order and write off individual parts – engines, electronics or modules – without the need to register the entire complex as a single object. This speeds up the process of repairing and restoring drones in units.

The changes are noticeable for military units, warehouses, support services and territorial support units, where the volume of paper document flow is significantly reduced.

The digital logistics system is already operating in over a thousand military units, which has made the supply and accounting processes more transparent and efficient.
