Klitschko reported that Kyiv received buses for children with disabilities from German partners
Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko announced the arrival of three new specialized minibuses for the Kyiv City Territorial Center of Social Services. These cars were transferred thanks to cooperation with German partners. They will provide additional transportation for 40-50 children with disabilities every day. This will significantly help families who need regular trips to doctors, rehabilitation and training 3-4 times a week.
According to Klitschko, the need for such services has grown significantly in the capital, which already exceeds the existing capabilities. Currently, more than 1,500 city residents from among children with disabilities need regular transportation. In the first three months of the year alone, social transport has already made almost 10,000 trips, but this is not enough to satisfy all requests. Every new car is a chance for people with disabilities to get the treatment they need and not feel isolated.
Klitschko drew special attention to the fact that the new minibuses were made possible thanks to the financial support of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, as well as the assistance of partner cities, including Leipzig, Berlin and the Charlottenburg City Hall.
