Easter in Kyiv April 10–13: 8 weekend events

The Easter weekend from April 11 to 13 in Kyiv and the surrounding areas promises to be packed with events: from a large market with Easter cakes to traditional celebrations in St. Sophia Cathedral, parties, lectures and events outside the city. We have prepared a selection of events for families, friends and those who want to celebrate the holiday in the atmosphere of spring, music and Ukrainian traditions.

Several events are planned for the Easter weekend in the capital – from mass celebrations to intimate gatherings. One of the key events will be the Paska Club, which will take place on April 11 from 10:00 to 18:00 at Garage on Mezhyhirska Street, 82. This is a traditional Easter market, where the best Easter cakes, decor and the atmosphere of a festive city will be collected. The entrance ticket costs 100–150 UAH.

You can also visit the KURENI party with a view of the Dnieper River on this day, which will last from 18:00 to 22:45. The event is designed for those who want to combine the spring mood with music and the panorama of the city, and the price of tickets starts from 400 UAH.

From April 11 to 13, RE:BLOOM POP-UP will take place in OSEREDOK – a space for Ukrainian brands, where you can find clothes, cosmetics, ceramics and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Admission to this event is free.

On the same day, Easter egg painting will be held in the Avangarden gallery, also free of charge. For lovers of underground sound, a drum’n’bass event on vinyl has been prepared in “Khvylove”, which will start at 16:00, the ticket price is 300 UAH.

The “Siya” party in Closer, which will take place on April 11-12 from 16:00, will be one of the most significant electronic events of the weekend. Both club residents and international artists will perform, the cost of the entrance ticket is from 700 UAH.

The largest traditional celebration will take place on April 12 in Sofia Kyivska, from 12:00 to 20:00 there are planned church services, consecration of baskets, a folk art fair, children’s programs, spring songs, round dances and concerts.

This event will combine a spiritual, cultural and charitable component. The cost of the entrance ticket is 300 UAH, a concessionary ticket is 150 UAH, there are also categories of visitors with free admission.

The festive event will continue with the Easter Fair at The Cake, where you can buy various delicacies and Easter cakes for those looking for a more relaxed option for a holiday vacation.

For those who want to escape the city, departure options are planned. The Shelest Hotel will host a barbecue, Easter egg decorating, and an Easter quest on April 12, while Seven Lakes is planning a waterfront celebration with a fair, games, and basket blessing. Both events are free.
