The first footage from the filming of the movie based on the game Elden Ring has been released
The first videos from the shooting of the film based on the famous video game Elden Ring have appeared on social networks. This video is believed to have been filmed in the UK, and quickly gained popularity among fans, causing a lot of discussion.
In the images you can see the iconic elements of Limgrave, as well as the statue of Marika, located in an open field. However, plot details and main characters remain a mystery at the moment.
The film is produced by A24 studio and directed by Alex Garland, known for such works as Annihilation and 28 Days Later. Filming was supposed to begin this year after a long period of no news about the project. There were rumors in the media that 21-year-old Keith Connor, who had already worked with Garland in the military action film “Under Fire”, could play the main role.
In addition, George Martin, who contributed to the creation of the mythology of the original game, is involved in the work on the film. Although the specific plot remains shrouded in mystery, it is known that the film adaptation will transport viewers to a vast fantasy world filled with dungeons, monsters and complex mythology.
Series based on popular franchises such as Baldur’s Gate, God of War, Wolfenstein, Far Cry and Mass Effect are also currently in development.
Meanwhile, the creators of Elden Ring continue to work on The Duskbloods, a dark multiplayer game with steampunk and vampire elements, which is planned for a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive release.
