The Alibi sisters presented the Ukrainian adaptation of the famous Lichilochka

The band The Alibi Sisters celebrates 25 years of their creative activity with a new release. The Zavalski sisters released a Ukrainian version of their famous song Lichilochka, giving it a modern sound. This composition is gaining popularity again, evoking nostalgia for the era of the 2000s and combining it with new musical trends.

Anna and Angelina Zavalski decided to celebrate the anniversary of the band ALIBI by updating one of the most famous R&B hits of the early 2000s. Their new version of Lichilochka impresses with its freshness and modern approach to the original.

This song once became a reflection of youth culture, distinguished by its bold style and freedom of expression.

Angelina noted: “These 25 years have flown by in an instant, but remembering everything that happened, sometimes the spirit takes over. We can evaluate our path by returning to the origins and rethinking the past. Our creativity has always been unconventional—we embodied ideas that did not fit into the generally accepted framework. Only now we realize what a large audience we had. The most important thing is that we never betrayed herself, and maybe that’s why our music is still relevant,” she shares.

After the successful comeback of the Tabu hit, the band was once again in the center of attention of listeners who actively remember the music of zeros.

The updated version of Lichilochka logically complements this stage, plunging into memories, but with a modern sound.

The composition opens a dialogue with the past and a new audience, where it can be heard by both long-time fans and new listeners.

Angelina emphasized: “In the translated version of Lichilochka, there is a line that sounds like ‘What we had, we didn’t appreciate.’ in zero, I could survive them again,” Anna emphasized.

Among the novelties, we can also mention the song “All Yours” by GARNA and BioNik, which is dedicated to important relationships between people. This composition evokes familiar mornings after worries, when you need to hear the voice of loved ones. It arose on the basis of real situations and conveys the emotions that unite Ukrainians today.
