An FSB agent who was looking for “targets” for missiles was detained in Odesa

The Security Service of Ukraine detained another woman who corrected enemy attacks in Odesa. It turned out that she is a local FSB agent.

According to the investigation, the detainee was collecting coordinates for new shelling in the southern part of the country, focusing on Ukrainian air defense systems. The main targets that were under threat included mobile fire units, anti-aircraft missile systems and radar stations responsible for protecting the airspace of the Black Sea coast.

The woman was traveling on public transport near the coast, recording potential military targets. She took photos and videos of the outer perimeters, marked the coordinates on Google maps and saved them as screenshots. She transmitted the collected information to her curator in Russia through an anonymous instant messenger chat.

The SBU employees recorded her activities and detained her at the time of information gathering, when she was recording the positions of Ukrainian troops using her smartphone. It is known that the woman worked as a saleswoman and was recruited after she started looking for work in Telegram channels.

Suspicion was brought against her under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason under martial law). The detainee is currently in custody, she faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property. The operation was carried out by SBU employees in the Odesa region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office.
