TCRSS employee dies as a result of an overdose in Odesa region
A 49-year-old resident of Kropyvnytskyi died in Reni Hospital with methadone in his blood. According to preliminary data, the cause of death was cerebral edema caused by an overdose of the drug.
On April 7, the man was taken to the intensive care unit of the Reni hospital with signs of a heart attack. During the treatment, doctors discovered that he had used methadone the day before, which could have significantly affected his condition. Despite the doctors’ efforts, they failed to save the patient. A forensic medical examination will determine the final cause of death.
At the moment, law enforcement agencies have already launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
It is also worth noting that there have been several other high-profile events in Ukraine, including the detention of a Russian agent who was planning terrorist attacks in Ukraine and an attempt to deliver banned substances to the Izmail detention center, which was prevented.
