During the incident on the Walk of Fame in Bila Tserkva, women were detained for stealing from soldiers’ graves
In Bila Tserkva, in the Kyiv region, law enforcement officers detained two women at the Sukhyi Yar cemetery, suspected of disturbing the peace at the graves of fallen soldiers.
Eyewitnesses reported that the detainees were intoxicated, drank alcohol, stole from graves, and behaved obscenely towards the memory of the fallen soldiers and their mothers. One of the women allegedly made threats to people who tried to stop them.
Photos and videos appeared on social networks, showing toys that were probably stolen from graves. One of the detainees was recognized by the mother of the fallen soldier, who lives in the area.
According to the Kyiv region police, the incident was recorded in the unified register of applications and reports. Law enforcement officers continue to clarify all the details and legal qualifications of the incident.
There are also plans to build a memorial in Bucha that will honor the victims of the Russian occupation.
