Major General Drapatiy: “Only together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine can we defeat the enemy”

Major General Mikhail Drapaty addressed the military and all Ukrainians with Easter greetings. He emphasized that this holiday symbolizes the victory of life over death and is also a sign of hope for peace for the Ukrainian people.

“However, hope cannot exist without action,” Drapaty noted, noting that belief in victory only lays the foundation. Still, a daily struggle is necessary, one that everyone must join.

“Peace in Ukraine will not come by itself. It cannot be achieved without unity, and the Armed Forces cannot do it alone,” he emphasized. The general emphasized that only through joint efforts, side by side with the Defense Forces, can the enemy be defeated.

Drapaty also expressed gratitude to the families of servicemen celebrating without their loved ones. “Your relatives, who are now on the front lines, are truly the heroes of Ukraine. Your support is their strength, your patience is their support,” he emphasized.

At the end of his address, the Major General wished everyone an indomitable spirit and courage in the fight for truth and justice and concluded with the traditional greeting: “Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!”
