Пенсіонерам виплатять мізерну надбавку, яку не вистачить навіть на оплату світла

Pensioners will be paid a meager allowance, which will not even be enough to pay for electricity

In Ukraine, pensioners can take advantage of various supplements and allowances to their basic pension, but their amounts are often insufficient to cover all expenses.

In particular, state allowances are available to persons who have dependent children under the age of 18. The press service of one of the city councils confirmed this information.

According to current legislation, pensioners who meet certain conditions are entitled to receive the supplement:

have the status of a non-working pensioner;

receive a pension due to reaching age, disability, or length of service;

support minor children.

However, pensioners who continue to work or are registered as private entrepreneurs are not assigned this allowance.

In 2025, the allowance for one child is only 150 hryvnias and accrues until the child reaches the age of majority.

To apply for a supplement, a pensioner must apply and collect a package of documents, which includes:

citizen’s passport;

identification code;

work book;

child’s birth certificate;

certificate of residence on the maintenance of disabled family members.

Earlier, it was reported that the pension could be increased by almost 300 hryvnias if certain documents are available, and certificates must be provided urgently to avoid losing the pension and subsidies.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to increase the pension by 20% using a single document; details on obtaining this information were also published.
