Нардеп різко розкритикував нову рекламу Міноборони "Контракту 18-24", назвавши її на рівні 9-річного тіктокера

The People’s Deputy sharply criticized the new advertisement of the Ministry of Defense for “Contract 18-24”, calling it at the level of a 9-year-old TikToker

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented a video as part of the “Contract 18-24” campaign, which was intended to interest young people in contract service. However, the video attracted criticism, particularly from MP Yuriy Kamelchuk.

In his interview with “Superposition,” Kamelchuk called the video “manipulation” and “absurd,” saying that it shows young people reaching the level of a nine-year-old TikTok user. “It’s just disgusting,” he emphasized.

The MP also accused the Ministry of Defense of using neurolinguistic programming techniques, indicating that the video creates the illusion of choice, and promises of “2 million hryvnias” are made without specifying that these funds will be paid in installments over the contract term. “This is pure deception: 2 million hryvnias will not be given immediately; they will be paid in installments. If you live to see the end of the contract, perhaps you will receive them. This is natural manipulation,” he noted.

Kamelchuk believes that young people are more inspired by personal examples and specific people rather than abstract promises of freedom from their parents or promises of money that will not be available immediately.

The video, which was planned as a motivational one, raised many questions about the state’s approach to communicating with young people in wartime. “In my opinion, this approach is wrong,” he added.

Let us recall that courts in Ukraine are massively canceling fines for draft evaders, and new bills may deprive students of their right to a deferral from mobilization. Also, the CCC is finding new methods to identify draft evaders, particularly by checking various databases.
