Putin published a new “blacklist” of Britons: who is banned in Russia
Russia has presented a new list of persons banned from entering its territory, including 21 British politicians, as reported by the Mirror newspaper.
The Kremlin statement noted that the UK is actively spreading anti-Russian propaganda, “demonizing Moscow” and supporting the conflict in Ukraine by supplying weapons.
“Russophobia and the intention to harm Russian statehood remain an integral part of London’s foreign policy,” the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
List of banned persons
The “stop list” includes representatives of various British political parties – deputies of the House of Commons and members of the House of Lords. They include:

Reasons for the lists
This new “blacklist” was a reaction from the Russian side to the sanctions imposed by the British government against Russian businessmen and officials in connection with the large-scale military conflict in Ukraine.
Since 2022, the UK has frozen the assets of Russian enterprises worth more than £ 25 billion and imposed sanctions on more than 2,000 people associated with the Kremlin regime.
This is not the first case of drawing up similar lists: in November 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Angela Raynor, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper, and other senior officials were banned.
Russia also continues to shape public opinion in favor of conflict with NATO through active propaganda.
