Shaquille O’Neal to front Reebok in new Netflix series Power Moves
Netflix has released the official trailer for its new series, “Power Moves,” starring basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal. The series follows the rise of Reebok Basketball as it seeks to revitalize the brand in basketball.
The series, which will premiere on June 4, 2025, will also feature Allen Iverson, the Vice President of Reebok Basketball, and WNBA star Angel Reese.
The six-episode documentary series will explore Reebok’s return to basketball. Viewers will learn about the decision-making process at its Boston headquarters, the strategy behind the brand, and the challenges the team faces as it rebuilds its brand.
The trailer focuses on the signing of Angel Reese and the team’s efforts to sign another star, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
For Shaquille O’Neal, the story is personal, as Reebok launched his professional sports career in 1992, and he is now returning to help the brand write a new chapter.
The series will also feature other athletes and Reebok representatives sharing their experiences and insights. “Power Moves” will be a story about the business and the impact, legacy, and contemporary cultural dynamics surrounding basketball.
