Organizers expected about 450 guests, including representatives of the world of fashion, music, film, art, and sports.
According to analytics company Emplifi, the number of mentions on social media exceeded one million on the day of the Met Gala.
Bollywood star Kiara Advani was a bright personality who attracted attention. Her level of engagement among social media users reached 3.5%, which significantly exceeds the indicators of other celebrities. For example, Kylie Jenner had only 0.3%.
Among the brands, Chanel received the most mentions, with over 182,000 mentions, accounting for 71% of the total on the red carpet. Versace was mentioned over 18,000 times, Thom Browne over 14,500, Marc Jacobs around 6,000, and Fendi around 5,600.
Launchmetrics is expected to release a detailed media value (MIV) report in the coming weeks, which will be made public.
