Alyona Omovich, a popular Ukrainian blogger and model, shared her candid thoughts about life in Dubai, where she has been living for the second year. In a podcast with Vasyl Tymoshenko, they discussed whether finding true love in this city is possible. Alyona expressed pessimism about this, noting that although there are cases of quick weddings among local party people, most relationships are superficial and unstable.

She emphasized that in Dubai, everything revolves around money. Wealthy men often do not seek serious relationships, perceiving women as simple accessories. “There is no place for honesty there. Girls are silent because men provide for them financially, while men behave even more cynically, knowing that they can always find someone else,” the blogger shared.

Alyona believes that Dubai’s social atmosphere is too toxic to create real relationships. Many people are engaged in a demonstration of false prosperity, living in a world of illusions. “This is one big space where everyone is connected. And if you live here all the time, you see who is with whom and why, and everything becomes obvious,” she noted.

In her opinion, the situation in Dubai is even worse than in Kyiv: “Kyiv has its problems, but still not so critical.”
