Some Ukrainians will be given the opportunity to retire early: who will be able to retire before the age of 60?

Pensions in Ukraine are awarded from the age of 60, but certain categories of citizens who have not served the required length of time or have not reached this age may be eligible for early retirement.

In particular, women can retire at age 50 provided that they have at least 15 years of service if certain conditions are met: they have raised five or more children under the age of six or have children with disabilities. Men can also retire earlier, at age 55 with 20 years of service, if the mother consents.

Early retirement is available for people with visual disabilities of group I: men can retire at 50 with 15 years of service, women – from 40, if they have at least 10 years of insurance service.

People with short stature are also entitled to early retirement. Men can receive a pension at the age of 45 with 20 years of service, while women can retire at the age of 40 with 15 years of service.

Thus, Ukrainians have the opportunity to retire earlier, depending on their length of service and specific circumstances.
