TV presenter Maksym Nelipa died while defending Ukraine

Maksym Nelipa, a popular Ukrainian actor, TV presenter, and military man, died at the front on May 12 while performing a combat mission. His wife, Tamara, reported this tragic news in her publication on the network.

This loss was another heavy blow for Ukraine. Maksym Nelipa, known for his activities in show business and service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died in the line of duty. This became known from the post of his wife, Tamara.

Tamara noted that an investigation into the circumstances of her husband’s death is currently underway.

“My Maksym is no more. He died in battle. I am writing this, and I do not believe it. This was not supposed to happen. Due to the problematic situation in the country, we need to be patient because the investigation is ongoing.”

Maksym’s death was a grief for many Ukrainians. His Maksym Nelipa was born in 1976 in Kyiv. He became famous as a participant in KVN and gained popularity thanks to hosting the TV lottery “Who’s there?” on channel 1+1, the programs “Lose a million” on ICTV, and “Rise” on New Channel. In 2007, he participated in the show “Dancing with the Stars”, where he danced in a pair with Olena Shoptenko. Since 2017, he has been part of the “Diesel Show” team, participating in numerous humorous projects.

When the full-scale invasion began in 2022, Maksym voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In January 2025, he was wounded, after which he underwent treatment and rehabilitation and later returned to the front.

Many will remember Maksym Nelipa as a talented showman and a brave warrior who defended his country with honor.

It is also known that kickboxer Roman Holovatyuk died in the war.
