Gas tariffs in June: what payments to expect
Ukrainians will continue to be charged for gas at the previous tariff, which will remain unchanged until the spring of 2026.
Naftogaz made this decision, extending the “Fixed” tariff plan. The cost of gas will remain at 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter until April 30, 2026. The company explained that a moratorium on price increases ensures such stability. Therefore, from May and in the following months, gas for most consumers will remain at the same prices that were in effect before. This tariff is used by about 98% of households in Ukraine.
In addition to the respected pricing policy, Naftogaz offers a 1% discount for some consumers. To receive a discount, you must pay the bill by the 15th through the company’s online service. If these conditions are met, the discount will be applied in the next billing month.
It is worth noting that the discount cannot be used in the same month as the payment. For example, if the payment for gas was made in May, the discount will be available only from June. Naftogaz emphasizes that timely payment contributes to stability in the system and the development of the country’s economy.
The situation in the energy sector is under control despite the challenges arising from the war. Thanks to the government’s and specialists’ joint efforts, Ukrainians can count on a fixed gas price, allowing them to plan their expenses without unforeseen financial difficulties effectively.
