In Kyiv, a trial has been launched against a young man suspected of selling cocaine and other drugs, disguising them as elite electronic devices. During the searches, six kilograms of drugs were seized from him.

The press service of the capital’s police reported this. If proven guilty, the accused faces up to 12 years in prison and property confiscation.

“Law enforcement officers exposed a 23-year-old drug dealer in March. The suspect rented an apartment in Podil, equipping it as a warehouse and packaging shop, where he packed drugs and psychotropic substances for further transfer. The packaging was done in boxes from under phones and headphones,” the police noted.

During the search, more than three kilograms of psychotropic drugs were discovered and seized, as well as more than three kilograms of other medications. In addition, electronic scales, vacuum equipment, packaging rolls, and many empty electronic packaging were found.

The investigation has been completed, and the indictment has already been sent to the court for consideration. The perpetrator is in custody in the inquiry.
