She describes how the track emerged from her own experience: “It’s about memory that lives in the body: in the pulse, in the pain, in the images that reappear in consciousness. About that state when love turns from light to a shadow that follows you…”

This personal theme is permeated with universal feelings. It resonates in the hearts of those who have experienced love as a battlefield at least once—a beautiful but dangerous place where every touch can be healing or traumatic.
