In the Odessa region, a bus with passengers drove into a ditch – the results of the incident

An incident occurred on the Odesa-Reni highway near the village of Broska with a bus carrying 14 people. As a result of the accident, none of the passengers were injured, and an administrative report was drawn up against the driver.

According to the report of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region, the 59-year-old driver of the bus, traveling from Burgas to Odessa, did not take into account the safe speed during the turn, as a result of which he was unable to control the vehicle and drove into a ditch. Fortunately, all 14 passengers remained unharmed. The driver passed an alcohol test, the results of which were positive. The police continue to collect statements from the participants in the accident to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

An administrative report was drawn up against the driver by Article 124 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, which pertains to traffic violations resulting in damage to a vehicle. For this, the emu may face a fine of up to 850 hryvnias.
