New gas payment system: Naftogaz makes announcement for consumers

n Ukraine, gas consumers are still accustomed to receiving paper bills for payment of the fuel used. However, Naftogaz offers to adopt a different approach. The relevant information appeared on their official Facebook page.

Now, home consumers have the opportunity to completely digitalize the process of paying gas bills. To do this, you can opt for electronic payments and maintain records in digital format.

Naftogaz notes that the possibility of electronic bill delivery is currently available upon the consumer’s request. Still, in the future, the company may more actively reduce the number of paper bills.

To refuse to receive paper bills, you need to:

go to the “Settings” menu;
activate the “receive bills online” option.
Electronic bills appear in your account earlier than paper bills, making this format more convenient. This avoids delays in delivery and the risk of late payment. Additionally, consumers have the opportunity to receive a discount if they make a full payment for gas by the 15th through Naftogaz’s online services.

Recall that earlier, the Znay portal reported on changes in gas tariffs in Ukraine and on new requirements for replacing gas meters, failure to comply with which may have serious consequences for the company’s customers.

Problems with the return of erroneously paid funds to Naftogaz customers were also reported.
