Wednesday is back: what news awaits fans in the second season of the popular Netflix series

Netflix has announced that the second season of Wednesday will be released this summer. To get fans excited, the streaming service debuted the first six minutes of the new episode at its Tudum 2025 event.

The opening scene finds the main character trapped in a serial killer’s basement. This part also hints at new supernatural threats and personal challenges. The first episode is titled ‘Here We Go Again.’

Among the new features of the season is the appearance of Lady Gaga, who will take on the role of the mysterious teacher Rosalyn Rothwood at Nevermore Academy.

Although plot details for the first six episodes have not yet been revealed, it is known that the season will start with Wednesday Addams returning to the school. According to the authors, the new episodes promise to be darker, and the main character will face difficulties in her relationships with family, friends, new enemies, and secrets.

The first part of the season will premiere on Netflix on August 6, 2025, and the second part will appear on September 3, 2025.
