The lawyer explained the three ways to remove yourself from the CCC’s wanted list

The National Police Service is engaged in the search for individuals who have violated military registration to deliver them to territorial recruitment centers (TCK) and social protection.

According to lawyer Vladyslav Derii, conscripts have only a few options to remove themselves from the wanted list.

When the TCK detects a person who evades military registration or violates mobilization regulations, this information is transferred to the National Police. As a result, such individuals are subject to detention and forced delivery.

Getting on the wanted list can be relatively easy, but removing oneself from it is a much more complicated process.

“To remove themselves from the wanted list, the head of the TCK must submit a corresponding application to the National Police. Opening a case and closing administrative proceedings takes time, so the wanted status can remain relevant for quite a long time,” the lawyer emphasized.

Solution options

Vladislav Derii noted that for persons who are wanted, there are three possible ways out of the situation:

try to have the case of an administrative violation closed;
admit the violation, pay a fine, and fulfill other requirements of the CCC;
challenge the wanted status in court.
Earlier, it was reported about a new notification system from the CCC, which will allow for prompt notification of conscripts. Updated mobilization criteria were also announced, which put three categories of persons at risk. Additionally, lawyers emphasize various grounds on which persons may not receive summonses.
