Three apartments, a car and money: what the former head of a medical institution hid in her declaration

Natalia Abramenkova, the former head of the regional clinical center MSEK in the Dnipropetrovsk region, did not declare property worth a total of more than 3.2 million hryvnias. These circumstances became known during the administrative proceedings on the dishonest declaration.

The declaration did not indicate:

three apartments, one of which is worth about 1.2 million hryvnias;
a Hyundai Tucson car;
her husband’s earnings at an oncology clinic;
bank accounts with $8,000 and more than 100,000 hryvnias.
During the trial, Abramenkova pleaded guilty, explaining that she did not want “anyone to suspect her.” As a result, the court imposed a fine of 51,000 hryvnias on her and banned her from holding managerial positions in municipal medical institutions for the remainder of the current year.

After being released from the MSEK, she works as a therapist at a veterans’ hospital.

Abramenkova’s family also has significant assets. In particular, her son 2019, when he was 20 years old, bought an apartment and commercial premises in the River Park residential complex. Additionally, a dacha, a land plot in Balivka, and another apartment in the Grani residential complex were registered in his name. Natalia Abramenkova also has a 50-square-meter apartment in the same complex, worth approximately 1.12 million hryvnias.

The sources of financing for such purchases are unknown, and law enforcement has not yet verified the legality of the family’s income.

It is also worth noting that Ihor Mykytyuk, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Illinetskyi District Court of Vinnytsia Oblast, indicated in his declaration a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe car, purchased in December 2023, for only 5,000 hryvnias. However, the market price of such a car ranges from 520 thousand to over a million hryvnias.
