Weather in Kyiv region from June 10 to 14: refreshing rains after the heat
From June 10 to 14, the Kyiv region and the capital of Ukraine will experience mostly cool weather caused by air masses coming from the north. This change in weather is the result of a cold atmospheric front, which at the beginning of the week caused the heat to move away to the South and East of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, temperatures are expected to remain reasonably stable both during the day and at night. At night, the temperature is expected to drop to 10–13 degrees, while during the day, temperatures of 19–23 degrees are anticipated.
As for precipitation, short-term summer-type rains are expected, with an uneven distribution across the territory. The intensity of rainfall may vary from light to moderate. Rain is possible on June 11, as well as on June 12 and June 14.
No precipitation is forecast for June 10 and the night of June 11 due to the influence of a high-pressure field. Further weather conditions will be influenced by a low-pressure area associated with a cyclone moving from the east.
These weather changes should not be considered inconveniences – the cool air mass will provide tangible relief from the heat, and short-term rains will help moisten the soil and improve air quality.
