Pensioners are scheduled to receive a raise: who will be able to receive a 10% increase?
Ukrainian pensioners have the opportunity to receive a monthly supplement to their pension in the amount of 10% of the approved subsistence minimum per person. To do this, it is necessary to register a specific status, as reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Citizens of Ukraine who hold the title of “Honorary Donor” are eligible to receive an additional monthly payment to their pension. The amount of this supplement is 10% of the subsistence minimum, which in 2025 will be 292 hryvnias.
Who can receive the status of Honorary Donor in Ukraine?
This status is granted to persons who have performed the following donation procedures free of charge:
40 eligible blood donations;
or 60 doses of blood plasma obtained by apheresis;
Or 40 doses of blood cells were also collected by apheresis.
Different years can be involved in blood donation – the key is that the total number of donations meets the requirements.
To receive this allowance, you must submit an application to the Pension Fund along with a set of documents:
passport or other document confirming your identity;
registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card;
document proving the status of “Honorary Donor of Ukraine” or “Honorary Donor of the USSR.”
