Iran claims to have seized Mossad drone vehicles

According to Iranian Telegram channels, Israel has used the “Spider Web” tactic to launch drones at targets in Iran.

Photos and videos have been posted online showing pickup trucks and trucks from which drones were supposed to be launched. It is also said that Iranian forces have seized several vehicles belonging to “Mossad agents” and on which drones were found. Independent sources have not yet confirmed this information.

If Israeli forces have indeed used trucks to launch drones, this may resemble the SBU’s “Spider Web” operation, which damaged part of Russian strategic aviation in the rear areas.

There have been no official comments from Israeli or independent sources at this time.

Details of the conflict

On June 13, 2025, Israel launched its large-scale military operation called “Lion Nation” against Iran. The main goal was to stop, according to Israeli intelligence, the “imminent threat” to Iran’s nuclear program, as the country had accumulated enough enriched uranium to create several atomic warheads.

The strikes targeted essential facilities, including uranium enrichment plants in Natanz and Fordow, as well as missile bases in Kermanshah and Khorramabad and strategic sites in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, and other major cities.

As a result of these actions, dozens of military facilities were destroyed, including air defense systems, drones, and ballistic missile launchers. Radioactive contamination was recorded in Natanz, and there are also reports of the elimination of Iranian nuclear scientists and military commanders.

Iran responded by launching about a hundred ballistic missiles toward Israel, most of which were intercepted by air defense systems. However, some still hit their targets, killing at least three people and injuring about 80.

Amid the escalating conflict, Israel declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Netanyahu held talks with the US president, who expressed support for Israel.

The international community’s reaction was mixed. China condemned Israel’s actions and called for a cessation of hostilities and the resumption of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.
