Українка в Ізраїлі показала обстріл і розповіла про захист під час атак

Ukrainian woman in Israel showed shelling and spoke about defense during attacks

During the recent massive shelling in Israel, Ukrainian Natalia, who currently lives in this country, shared a video of explosions and the operation of the air defense system in Jerusalem. In her comments, she talked about what everyday life looks like during rocket attacks and what helps Ukrainians survive in such conditions.

“Thanks to a powerful air defense system, we can survive. The main protection against missiles is provided inside cities. Open areas, especially outside cities, are hazardous since there is no reliable protection there. If a missile is intercepted, fragments can severely damage vehicles, break windows, and injure people,” the woman noted.

Natalia also said that new houses must have protective rooms that can save lives. “Although this does not guarantee absolute safety, it increases the chances of survival. These rooms have been the standard in Israel for over 20-25 years. No new construction project can do without them,” she added.

The woman demonstrated her protective room, where the entrance is made of a metal frame, and the walls, which are over 15 cm thick, are composed of special concrete resistant to explosions.

Such rooms are equipped with air conditioners to provide ventilation, and people independently furnish them with sleeping areas or desks according to their needs.

Natalia emphasized that this experience could be helpful in Ukraine, noting that “this is not just a concrete room – it is an investment in life.”

Shelling of Israel

The massive shelling of Israel occurred after a major air operation in Iran. Israeli officials said Iran had crossed all red lines by targeting civilian targets and that it would pay a heavy price.

The attacks injured at least 21 people, two of whom were in critical condition. The Israeli military said most of the missiles were intercepted by air defenses, but not all of the attacks were stopped. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Iranian regime had “never been so weak” and vowed to continue the fierce fight.

Israel is currently discussing possible further measures and ways to strengthen its defenses. Meanwhile, a Ukrainian woman who has survived several attacks continues to stress the importance of implementing civilian protection systems, including creating safe rooms in residential buildings.
