Kateryna Osadcha provoked outrage with her comment

Journalist Kateryna Osadcha expressed her stance on the situation in which mothers take their sons abroad to avoid mobilization. Her comments caused a mixed reaction among the public.

Blogger Bohdan Bespalov commented on Osadcha’s statements on his page.

“The boys must defend the homeland. At the same time, those who do not want to do this go abroad. This raises the question of how to keep young people at home and force them to fight. I am convinced that coercion is not the right decision for the state,” Osadcha noted.

In response, Bespalov emphasized:

“It is fair that the boys defend their country. Osadchaya does not condemn those who go to the front but criticizes those who evade. However, it is easy to give advice when you are safe, especially when your son is not at the front. There are many experts who, in my opinion, have no right to comment on military issues if they did not serve in the army,” he emphasized.

Social media users also expressed their indignation at the situation, emphasizing that it is difficult to accept advice from those who have never served in the army and have no combat experience.
