The Chernyshov family left Ukraine: coincidence or a deliberate decision?

Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov, as it became known, left Ukraine on June 19 and 20. This trip took place against the background of the preparation of suspicion against the minister by the NABU.

According to information received from sources in law enforcement agencies, his son went abroad on June 19, and his wife followed on June 20.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that on June 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, sent an invitation to the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers. The document stated that the Minister of National Unity must appear to hand over the suspicion on June 23.

According to Zheleznyak, this message was known to the government leadership and representatives of the President’s Office before the start of the question hour to the government. He also suggested that information about the minister’s foreign trip surfaced against the background of these events.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted during a meeting with journalists that Oleksiy Chernyshov is currently on a business trip abroad. According to him, the minister is performing two tasks: developing hubs for Ukrainians in different countries and promoting the issue of multiple citizenship. The head of state assured that after the trip, the Deputy Prime Minister will return to Ukraine.

Oleksiy Chernyshov has not yet commented on the situation, and there is no official information about the presentation of suspicion to him by law enforcement agencies or the Cabinet of Ministers.

Currently, the minister is in Europe on a work trip, and his whereabouts are unknown.
