Pensioners will not receive additional funds: when will pension payments be stopped?

Millions of Ukrainians continue to work, even after retirement, as additional income is becoming increasingly important in a situation where prices for goods and services are constantly rising.

However, not all pensioners can receive a pension and a salary simultaneously. Specialists from the Pension Fund of Ukraine explained this issue.

For those Ukrainians who, after retirement, decide to return to work, it is essential to notify the Pension Fund. This is especially true for recipients of a long-service pension. For example, if a pensioner has taken a position that entitles them to a pension, payments cease, and their restoration is possible only after dismissal.

At the same time, if employment is not related to the rights to a long-service pension, problems with payments will not arise. The Pension Fund also emphasizes that employment may affect the amount of retirement or the possibility of receiving some additional fees. Therefore, citizens are advised to notify the authorities of a change in employment status within ten days.

It was previously reported that pension is not everything: Ukrainians over 60 can receive additional payments. It was also reported that new rules are being introduced, according to which work abroad will be taken into account for pensions in Ukraine, as well as changes in retirement requirements.
