These are not just fines – in the most serious cases, a person may be deprived of his liberty even before the verdict is passed.

As a rule, the CCC first imposes fines, which can range from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias. However, if evasion becomes systematic, criminal prosecution is possible.
