Receive 29 thousand hryvnias in cash or property: Ukrainians are entitled to payment

Families living in frontline areas of Ukraine can receive assistance through the “Assistance to Frontline Households” project. The Southern Development Strategy NGO implements this initiative in cooperation with the UN World Food Program.

The program covers communities in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The initiative provides for payments or provision of agricultural equipment worth up to UAH 29,000.

Who can receive assistance, and in which regions

This support is intended for individuals who were engaged in agricultural activities but lost the opportunity to work due to the war, which significantly complicated their lives.

The program covers the following communities:

In Kherson region: Velykolyoksandrivska community;

In Mykolaiv region: Pershotravneva and Shevchenkivska communities;

In Dnipropetrovsk region: Nivotrudivska, Zelenodolska, Apostolivska, Hrushivska, and Vakulivska communities.
Support options for farmers

Project participants from the Dnipropetrovsk region have two support options that have the exact cost:

one of three sets of equipment: a greenhouse, a walk-behind tractor, or a drip irrigation system;
a cash payment of 29,000 hryvnias for the restoration and development of agricultural production.
In the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, the option of receiving equipment or cash compensation is also provided. Additionally, selected households will have the opportunity to undergo training to enhance their agricultural activities and optimize resource utilization.

This support is a crucial step in restoring the agricultural sector in frontline areas, providing people with a chance for a stable income and sustainable development.
