Intelligence struck Rogozin’s unit: three occupiers were killed
The Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service reported the liquidation of a group of UAV operators from the Bars-Sarmat unit in the Kherson region.
Ukrainian military intelligence carried out a successful operation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. On July 4, 2025, a Chevrolet Aveo car exploded near the village of Strilkove, in which three Russian servicemen were located. All the deceased belonged to a group of UAV operators from the Bars-Sarmat unit, which is part of the Russian armed forces.
Among those liquidated was a senior operator of the group, which was engaged in conducting combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and terrorizing the local population.
This group was part of the Bars-Sarmat specialized center for unmanned systems, formed in 2024 in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region. The primary activity of the unit focuses on the development and combat use of the latest UAV technologies, including drones and electronic warfare equipment.
The center is headed by Dmitry Rogozin, the former head of Roscosmos, who actively participates in military activities and management of technical units of the Russian army in the occupied Ukrainian lands.
The Bars-Sarmat group includes various combat units. The liquidated group was part of the Bars-1 formation, which is currently operating in the occupied city of Genichesk. The leader of this group, known by the call sign “Corsair,” has repeatedly appeared in joint photos with Rogozin.
According to information, Ildar Akhmerov, one of the leaders of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, was also killed in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
