At what temperatures does it get hot in Ukraine, and where will jackets be needed?

On Thursday, July 10, Ukraine will be sweltering, except for the western regions, where a significant temperature decrease is expected. Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported this.

According to forecasts, the highest temperatures will be observed in the East, Center, and South of the country, where thermometers will rise to +33…+39°C, and in some areas they may reach +40°C.

Forecast by region

In the Zhytomyr region, the temperature is expected to be more comfortable, ranging from 25°C to 27 °C. The Chernihiv region is expected to be pleasant, with temperatures of +32°C, and in the Kyiv region, it is anticipated to reach +33°C. In the Sumy region, thermometers will rise to +35°C.

In the Vinnytsia region, the temperature will not exceed 25 °C, while in the Dnipropetrovsk region, it is expected to rise to 37 °C. The hot weather will persist in the southern part of Ukraine, but in the Odessa region, the thermometer will remain at around +30°C.

Cooling in the West

The lowest temperatures are predicted in the western regions, from +15 to +19°C, which is a noticeable decrease compared to other parts of the country.

Rains at the end of the day

In the evening, rain with thunderstorms is possible in the west and the Vinnytsia region. The Zhytomyr region and Kyiv region may also experience precipitation, while the rest of the territory is expected to remain dry and sunny.
