Banks have imposed restrictions on cash withdrawals
In Ukraine, restrictions are being introduced on cash withdrawals, with a daily limit of no more than 100,000 hryvnias. However, the actual amount may be less, depending on the individual bank’s policy and the method of receiving funds, according to “Na pensiyi”.
According to current regulations, Ukrainians can withdraw up to 100 thousand hryvnias per day at bank branches. However, if money is withdrawn through ATMs or POS terminals, the limits may vary depending on the institution.
It is important to note that if part of the amount has already been withdrawn through an ATM, the remaining limit when withdrawing at the cash desk will be reduced by this amount.
PrivatBank
PrivatBank allows withdrawals of up to 20,000 hryvnias through ATMs every three hours, with a daily limit of 100,000 hryvnias remaining in place. For cards of other banks, the maximum withdrawal amount per transaction does not exceed 20 thousand hryvnias.
Sense Bank
Clients of this bank can withdraw up to 50 thousand hryvnias per day through ATMs and POS terminals. At the cash desk, you are allowed to withdraw up to 100 thousand hryvnias from one account.
Oschadbank
At Oschadbank, withdrawals are allowed in increments of 25,000 hryvnias every three hours, with a total daily limit of 100,000 hryvnias.
Monobank
Limits at Monobank depend on the type of card. Up to 100 thousand hryvnias can be withdrawn from debit (black) and credit (white) cards per day. However, it should be noted that Monobank does not have its ATMs; clients use devices from other banks and must take into account the terms and conditions of those banks regarding fees and limits.
There are usually no fees for cash withdrawals, but before making a transaction, it is advisable to check the terms on the ATM screen, as there may be exceptions.
