SBU detained a Russian agent who was planning a rocket attack on Kharkiv City Hall

Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a 45-year-old woman from Kharkiv, suspected of transmitting to the enemy information about the coordinates for a missile strike on one of the city council units.

According to the SBU press service, the woman without a permanent job was recruited through pro-Russian Telegram channels, where she actively expressed support for the aggressor. She went around the territories of the administrative buildings. She collected data on the presence of military equipment and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which she then transferred to Russian special services via the chatbot “Lokhmaty” from Donetsk.

The security service documented her activities and detained her at her place of residence. The woman was reported for suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular for unauthorized dissemination of information about military locations and glorification of Russian aggression.

The attacker is currently in custody without the possibility of bail and could receive up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property. SBU officers carried out the operation in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office.
