Мільйони в нерухомості та автомобілях: життя української посла Селих з "мінімальними" доходами

Millions in real estate and cars: the life of Ukrainian ambassador Selykh with “minimal” income

Olga Selykh, the Ukrainian ambassador to Oman, declared a modest income of 150,000 hryvnias in 2023, which is her only official income. This is the amount she received for working at the Liberty Lux condominium, where she holds the position of deputy chairman of the board. However, her lifestyle and assets raise many questions.

It is known that Selykh owns a significant amount of real estate: a non-residential premises in Kyiv with an area of about 79 m² is estimated at 2.8 million hryvnias, an apartment in the capital with an area of 96.9 m² – at 1.9 million hryvnias, as well as a parking space with an area of 13.8 m². Her land plots include two in Volyn with an area of over 7 thousand m² in the village of Kusnyshcha, and one in the Kyiv region. The total assessment of these lands exceeds 700 thousand hryvnias.

Selykh’s assets also include a 2017 Toyota Camry worth approximately UAH 874,000, as well as luxury items such as maple veneer for a table and chairs from Giorgio Collection, valued at UAH 383,000.

Despite the significant assets, the declaration does not indicate the sources from which the funds for their purchase were obtained. In addition, the ambassador only filed a declaration of income for the previous year, which contradicts the requirements of financial control.

Olga Selykh is also a beneficiary of three companies registered in one of the Kyiv offices, and holds director positions in two of them, albeit without remuneration. She has UAH 102,000 in her accounts, as well as $7,400 in cash.
