On Ruslan Bortnyk’s channel, the expert shared her thoughts on the interests of Republicans in Ukraine. In her opinion, they are most concerned about economic issues because real benefits are essential to them, not just symbolic aid.

“I do not believe that Ukraine is Trump’s top priority. He openly states that the main focus is on the economy, which is confirmed by all polls,” Kateryna Odarchenko emphasized.

The expert emphasizes that Americans voted for Trump, hoping for the opportunity to improve their lives: to buy more goods in stores and pay lower interest on mortgages. Trump assured that he would return the American dream so that everyone could afford to buy a house and a car.

“The main reason why people vote for Trump is the economy, and not just the issue of US hegemony or confrontation with China. Trump also declares his desire to resolve conflicts, but the main motivation of people when voting is the economic situation,” she noted.

So, for the foreseeable future, economic issues will remain decisive for Republican positions in the elections.
