Ukrainians warned about the threat of new massive attacks due to the launch of new drones

The Russian side is intensifying work on the modernization of its Shahed drones, to which Ukraine is responding by changing its defense strategies. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, during a telethon.

Fedorov noted that the Russians are implementing the latest technological solutions in drones, which makes them more effective in bypassing Ukrainian air defense systems. In turn, Ukraine is constantly adapting its methods to deal with new challenges.

The minister emphasized that the situation resembles a dynamic chess game, in which both sides quickly react to each other’s actions. He drew attention to the fact that drones and technologies used in the conflict are developing rapidly, and changes in tactics occur almost daily.

“We are constantly improving our strategies, as the enemy follows the same practices and improves its drones. New features have already been implemented that allow the Shahed to bypass our detection and interception systems more effectively,” the minister added.

Fedorov noted that the success of neutralizing drones largely depends on external conditions, such as weather and other factors.

“Undoubtedly, Russia will soon switch to the use of jet drones. We are already actively preparing for this challenge,” he stressed.

To date, Ukraine has signed agreements with at least four local companies that are engaged in the creation of new interception technologies.

“We are achieving significant success in developing new technologies, the implementation of which previously required years. We are already launching them into mass production. The next step will be scaling up,” Fedorov concluded.
