New mobilization rules: draft evaders will no longer be able to avoid the draft

The mobilization campaign is actively continuing, and the territorial recruitment centers (TCK) are taking decisive action.

Currently, more than 1.5 million men have not updated their data in the TCK, which hinders the practical work of the state.

“The lack of up-to-date information forces the TCK to recruit people randomly to fulfill the mobilization plan,” said People’s Deputy Roman Kostenko.

About 30 thousand people are drafted every month, and outdated information leads to chaos. Kostenko emphasizes that responsibility for the situation should lie not only with the military, but also with the nationwide system, which is why he demands a deep reform of the recruitment system.

“The right to a postponement is not a guarantee. If you have not updated your data or provided the necessary confirmations, you can be mobilized, even if you have a good reason,” noted lawyer Kateryna Anishchenko.

This applies to people with disabilities, parents of many children, people who are temporarily unfit, as well as those who have reservations.

Human rights activists urge not to delay updating documents, because even a delay of one day can have serious consequences in wartime.

At the same time, it should be understood that the CCC are not enemies. Although there are cases of “busification”, most of such stories are fictions of Russian propaganda. Many CCC employees are veterans who have already gone through the war and liberated their lives. Without Russian aggression, they would not have had to issue summonses. The enemy is Russia and its military, which destroyed our cities and killed civilians.

Our defenders undergo training before being sent to the front, while the Russian military goes to war without any preparation, throwing their own into torment. They do not perceive Ukrainians as people – they torture, abuse, and destroy everything in their path.

If we don’t fight now, in the future we will have to fight not for freedom, but under foreign flags, by force. People living in the occupied territories already know that refusal there is tantamount to death.
