Pensioners will be given allowances: who is entitled to receive about 1,000 hryvnias
In Ukraine, single pensioners who have reached the age of 80 can receive additional financial assistance every month. The amount of this payment is 944 hryvnias 40 kopecks and is intended for individuals requiring ongoing care.
To apply for this allowance, you need to contact the Pension Fund with certain documents. The main one is a medical certificate from the medical advisory commission (LAC), confirming the need for constant care. If such a certificate was issued in 2020 and is marked “indefinitely”, it can also be accepted.
In addition to the medical certificate, other documents are also required, including:
- certificate of family composition;
- confirmation of the absence of non-disabled relatives who could provide care;
- a personal application to the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
If all conditions are met, the allowance is provided as soon as possible. For more detailed information, you can contact the Pension Fund hotline.
Therefore, only single pensioners over 80 years of age who require constant care are entitled to this financial support. This decision aims to enhance the living conditions of older people and provide them with the necessary support in their later years.
It was also previously reported that pensioners may be granted allowances of up to 3,000 hryvnias, as well as the possibility of increasing their pension to 9,500 hryvnias.
