CCC introduces new strict mobilization rules for displaced people

Ukraine has introduced stricter supervision over compliance with military registration among people with the status of internally displaced persons (IDPs). Now, men liable for military service who fail to register at the territorial recruitment center (TCC) at the address indicated in their IDP certificate may find themselves on the official wanted list.

According to the new rules, if a person misses the seven-day deadline for registration through the “Reserve+” application, a red “wanted” mark will automatically appear in the system. This means that it will be practically impossible to avoid responsibility, since the system monitors every step.

According to the law, all men who have received IDP status must appear at the local TCC within seven calendar days to undergo military registration. Violation of the deadline can lead not only to a red mark, but also to administrative liability.

Lawyers offer two legal ways to avoid problems with the CCC:

1. Register in the place where the IDP status was obtained, if the person remains at the specified address.
2. Cancel the IDP status and return to registration at the place of permanent residence, if the person has returned home.

In both cases, it is crucial to act promptly to avoid potential legal consequences. The most convenient way is to check for the presence of a red “wanted” mark through the “Reserve+” application. If such a mark appears, this indicates that the CCC has already started the search procedure, so it is dangerous to delay in this situation.

Experts emphasize that control over the registration of IDPs has become as strict as possible, so finding a way to evade the system is practically impossible. The most effective way to avoid problems is to adhere to the established deadlines and update your data promptly.
