The Beatles present a musical compilation with 13 unreleased demos and rare tracks
The Beatles have announced the release of a new collection, The Beatles Anthology, which will include 13 previously unreleased demos and rare recordings. ABC announced this.
On November 26, the nine-part documentary project “The Beatles Anthology” will start on the Disney+ platform, which is an expanded version of the series “Anthology Collection”, which was released on ABC in 1995.
As part of this project, the band is also re-releasing music. The new album “Anthology 4” will combine 13 unreleased tracks and complement three previous double albums. The material is being remastered by Giles Martin, son of the band’s famous producer George Martin.
The collection “The Beatles Anthology” will go on sale on November 21 in digital format, as well as on 12 vinyl records and 8 CDs. Pre-order is already available. Additionally, the 25th anniversary edition of the book “Anthology” is scheduled for release on October 14.
The project is being implemented by Walt Disney Co., which owns the Disney+ and ABC News platforms.
The Beatles are a British rock band from Liverpool, formed in 1960 by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Among their most popular songs are “Yesterday”, “Hey Jude”, “Let It Be”, “Come Together”, “Help!”, “All You Need Is Love”, “Twist and Shout,” and others.
Even though 60 years have passed since their creation, The Beatles continue to remain relevant. In 2023, the band released a new single, “Now and Then”, which immediately became a hit in the British charts, setting a record for vinyl sales in the 21st century and receiving a Grammy.
