Дрони проникли в Польщу під час масштабної атаки Росії на Україну

Drones infiltrated Poland during Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine

The Polish army reported two instances of drones entering its airspace, but the situation remained under control.

On the night of September 2-3, the Polish military detected two drones that violated the airspace. Since the drones did not pose a threat, they were not shot down. Reuters published this information, citing official army sources.

Poland has maintained a high level of combat readiness since 2022, when a Ukrainian missile accidentally hit a village in the south of the country, killing two people. This incident occurred at a time when a full-scale war had begun.

“We recorded two cases of airspace violations,” said General Maciej Klisz, the operational commander of the Armed Forces. He also emphasized that the situation was under complete control of the national troops and units that are part of the defense system.

General Wiesław Kukula, Chief of the General Staff, added that the drones left Polish territory without causing any damage. However, the military did not specify in which area the drones blocked the border.

Poland has already encountered similar incidents. For example, in August, a drone crashed into a cornfield in the eastern part of the country. The prosecutor investigating the case suggested that the device could have arrived from Belarus, which is an ally of Russia.

Also, according to information, since the beginning of 2025, Poland has deported more than a thousand foreigners, including 15 Ukrainians, who are banned from returning to the country for up to ten years.
