Solution to school clothing disputes: Students were given recommendations on outfit
The Nikolaev Department of Education has decided to provide a comprehensive response to a question that concerns many parents and students.
Owners of educational institutions noted that in 2019, Ukraine abolished compulsory school uniforms. This means that now every student has the opportunity to choose what they wear to attend classes. However, students are advised to do so wisely, ads should be neat, clean, and fit the educational environment.
Following the recent incident at the Kiev Lyceum, where some children were denied access to lessons due to their attire, the Nikolaev city council has recalled the basic rules regarding student appearance. The department emphasized the importance of respecting yourself, your classmates, and teachers.
On hot days, children are advised to wear light clothing, such as dresses, skirts, T-shirts, or shorts. In colder Weather, comfortable pants, jeans, shirts, sweaters, or jackets are recommended. The primary concern is convenience for the student, ensuring it does not cause conflicts in the classroom.
The rules must be clear to everyone. The purpose is to allow students to feel free, while also being aware that the school is a serious place for learning and development.
