Vladlen Nikitin on the importance of air defense automation: “So that when launching drones, we already have information on where to attack”
Vladlen Nikitin spoke about this on the air of Valery Savchuk’s program, “Different People.”
In his opinion, the key aspect of military operations is information. With the help of neural networks, it is possible to analyze all the points from which drones are launched and even identify those connections that may be unknown to the enemy themselves. Neural networks can detect dependencies between launch sites, which allows us to understand why some locations are more successful for attacks than others.
Nikitin emphasizes the importance of studying where drones and missiles are launched from, at what time, and by which routes. To achieve this, it is crucial to analyze all points and interconnections carefully. He also noted that modern neural networks have reached a level of development that enables them to predict the enemy’s actions, as they can analyze information and draw conclusions from its individual components.
“We have the opportunity not only to analyze the enemy, but also, thanks to this data, to predict the moment when the drones will be launched. This allows us to more clearly define targets for response, since we know where and when this drone will appear. Thus, the accuracy of our strikes increases, and the probability of hitting increases,” the expert emphasized.
Nikitin noted that Ukraine was the first to start using drones, but currently does not receive adequate funding for the development of this technology.
Additionally, he focused on Ukrainian developments in the field of missile programs, noting that the support of partners plays a crucial role in the continuation of these projects.
