Mobilization in Ukraine is striking with a new rule: fines are imposed every 15 minutes

During the current mobilization in Ukraine, a curious situation arose: one man paid a fine for violating mobilization requirements, and just 15 minutes later, he was again on the wanted list.

A few days ago, another citizen also received a wanted status after paying a fine.

Lawyer Roman Simutin, a specialist in mobilization issues, explains that this was a consequence of new grounds for declaring him wanted.

“The ‘Reserve+’ application offers to pay a fine, even if there is no resolution. By paying a fine for failure to appear at the military registration and enlistment office (even though the summons was not actually served), the citizen actually admits his guilt for something he did not do,” the lawyer noted.

This situation raises serious questions about the legality and legitimacy of the new mobilization rules, because even the rapid elimination of violations does not guarantee that a person will avoid repeated fines and being on the wanted list.

Recall that automated registration has been introduced in the CCC, and there are certain conditions under which these decisions can be appealed. Earlier, ways were also considered to remove men from the wanted list without a personal visit to the military registration and enlistment office. Regarding the new terms of service, it became known that men over 60 years of age can also be drafted into the army.
