Pediatrician advises: a bottle of Coca-Cola should be in every home with children
Coca-Cola is one of the most popular drinks among children and adults, but not everyone realizes that it can be helpful in certain situations, particularly for speeding up recovery.
Pediatrician Anatoliy Kornutyak shared important recommendations in his TikTok blog, noting that a bottle of Coca-Cola is worth having in a house with children. “This drink can be useful for intestinal infections, when a child has vomiting, diarrhea, or an increased level of acetone. When a child has no appetite and energy is needed, Coca-Cola is an excellent source of energy,” he said.
The doctor also noted that the main disadvantage of the drink is its high sugar content. However, during the period of illness, when energy is needed, this problem may play a secondary role.
However, the pediatrician emphasized that Coca-Cola should not be abused. In a healthy state, children are better off choosing other drinks. However, during illness, this option can be an effective way to reduce acetone levels in the body.
The doctor’s video caused an active discussion among viewers. Users shared their experience of using “Coca-Cola”:
“When the baby had rotavirus, I gave him cola – it really helped.”
“I completely agree, we tried everything, but only cola saved him from acetone – the child began to ask for food.”
“I agree with you, cola with Borjomi really helped reduce the level of acetone.”
